At least that’s what Gunners legend Martin Keown suggested, with his old side’s next two fixtures pinpointed as critical to assessing their reaction to the loss.
Arsenal can count themselves unfortunate to have failed to pick up any points against United having carved out plenty of clear chances.
The defeat brought an end to their 12-game winning run at the Emirates too and leaves them 12 points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Arsenal travel to Southampton and West Ham in their next two domestic fixtures.

And Keown revealed his fears for those two games as Arsenal look to get back to winning ways.
"Deflated," admitted Keown when asked on BT Sport what the mood in the dressing room would be like after the loss to United.
"They performed well, I felt, in the game. Just that naivety.
"Away games coming up now, two away games, Southampton, West Ham.

"I’m concerned at how this team are gonna react… [and] the Ozil-Sanchez thing.
"I thought Ozil was outstanding today. You can’t question their performance.
"But the way that De Gea managed to keep the ball out for Manchester United today, was it 14 saves?"
Next up for Arsenal is Thursday night’s Europa League showdown with BATE Borisov.
