Adrien Rabiot appears set for a homecoming to French football with Olympique Marseille, having previously been linked with a move to Man Utd.
Having parted ways with Juventus after his contract expired at the end of the season, the 29-year-old midfielder had been linked with various top-tier clubs across Europe during the off-season; nevertheless, such interest never solidified into concrete offers.
It has now been reported that Marseille have reached an agreement to sign the ex-Paris Saint-Germain star, with an official announcement expected imminently.

Rabiot had been linked with a move to England in recent times, most specifically to Manchester United. Their interest in Rabiot stretches back to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's period in charge, persisting even as Erik ten Hag took over in 2022.
Speaking on previous interest from United, Rabiot's mother and agent, Veronique, said the Premier League were keen on signing him two years ago but denied talks over a potential move were at an advanced stage.
She said: "All false. United wanted to meet me to illustrate their interest in Adrien, but we never talked about money in detail because he quickly decided to stay in Turin."

Rumours were reignited in recent weeks, with talk that United remained interested in the midfielder even after the signing of Manuel Ugarte from PSG on transfer deadline day. The midfielder was also rumoured to a return to Juventus, but head coach Thiago Motta quickly quashed such speculation.
Rabiot's mother put an end to the Juventus reunion narrative, stating: "There is no need to close the door, returning to Juventus was not an option considered. When we make decisions, we take responsibility for them."
Marseille have now officially confirmed their agreement with Rabiot, pending a successful. medical. Their statement read: "Olympique de Marseille announces that it has reached an agreement in principle with Adrien Rabiot for the arrival of the French international midfielder at the club.
"The player will sign with OM subject to the results of the medical examination."
