His refusal to apologise on an unsanctioned live radio interview and a training ground bust-up with Rangers manager Mark Warburton and team-mate Andy Halliday led to the suspension being extended by three weeks.
Express Sport understands that tomorrow's meeting will not determine the final outcome of the club's verdict over Barton's future.
The discussions are likely to be the first stage of a disciplinary matter by Rangers.

Barton ended his one-year spell at Burnley in the summer by signing a two-year deal at the Ibrox, said to be worth £20,000 a week.
The 34-year-old reportedly turned down a £34,000-a-week offer from the Lancashire club in order to start a new venture in Scotland.
Despite calls for Rangers to cut their losses with the former Newcastle man Barton has refused to walk away from the club.

But Rangers legend Ian Durrant admitted two weeks ago that it could be best for both parties if he leaves.
“It seems better without him," said Durrant.
“Joey Barton is a very good football player, but since Andy Halliday went into the same position, Rangers have looked a more solid unit.
Barton is also being investigated by the Scottish Football Association over allegations he broke strict betting rules.
