President confirms Chelsea and Everton target has signed contract: £78m release clause
CHELSEA target Kalidou Koulibaly has finally signed a new contract at Napoli.
Kalidou Koulibaly has signed a contract at Napoli until 2021
The centre-back has penned a five-year deal with the Serie A club to effectively end Chelsea’s pursuit.
There are reports that his new deal includes a £78million release clause.
The Blues were known to be keen on Koulibaly and had an offer rejected by Napoli in the summer.
The Senegal international was also on Everton manager Ronald Koeman’s radar.

Conte instead signed Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz on transfer deadline day for £32m.
Former England defender Jamie Carragher said over the weekend that Luiz was not a Conte signing and that the club had most likely pushed ahead with the transfer.
Conte also missed out on Juventus’ defensive duo Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
A January swoop for either Lazio centre-back Stefan De Vrij or Middlesbrough’s Ben Gibson is supposedly on the cards.
As for Everton, they invested £12m of the £47.5m raised from John Stones’ sale to Manchester City in Swansea captain Ashley Williams.
Boss Koeman is supposedly keen to add to his defence in the New Year.
