Mauricio Pochettino has guided Spurs to an unlikely title challenge this season
The Argentine has guided Spurs to an unlikely title challenge this season.
Pochettino's side are currently second in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Leicester.
And the Sun claim United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's interest in the Spurs boss is hotting up.
Woodward has been monitoring Pochettino as an alternative to former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
However Mourinho still remains favourite to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the summer.
Van Gaal has come under huge pressure this term, with United exiting the Champions League at the group stages and struggling to finish in the Premier League’s top four.
