Paul Pogba made just three Premier League appearances for Manchester United before leaving at 19
According to Italian publication Gazzetta World, United are keen to land the France international whose career has excelled in Italy since leaving Old Trafford in 2012.
The 22-year-old is valued at around £70million and would cost a Premier League record fee to bring him back to Manchester, although United face competition from their close rivals.
Manchester City and Chelsea are also said to be fighting for Pogba’s services this summer, while Real Madrid remain in the mix too.
However, Champions League football could play a big part in Pogba’s destination, with Louis van Gaal’s United and even City in danger of not securing qualification for next season.
Juventus themselves are still in this season’s Champions League, and their push for the Serie A title leaves them more or less assured of a place next term, which could prove crucial in Pogba’s future.
