Amazon Prime orders ‘twisted’ The Boys origin series as fans make one big prediction
The Boys has been Amazon Prime Video's biggest streaming hit of the past few years and will soon be followed up with yet another spin-off.

Amazon Prime Video has ordered a fourth spin-off of their mega-hit superhero drama The Boys shortly after wrapping up its hugely popular fourth season.
Millions of viewers have tuned in for more violence, twists and ‘WTF’ moments this year as Billy Butcher (played by Karl Urban) and the rest of the team launched another plan to take down Homelander (Antony Starr).
Although there’s just one more season of the flagship drama left, fans still have more instalments of Gen V as well as an upcoming offshoot set in Mexico to look forward to.
The streamer has now confirmed the franchise will be expanding even further with a new prequel series set decades before Homelander was born.
Vought Rising will be set in the 1950s and tell the origin story of the world’s superheroes, with fan-favourites Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprising their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively.
“We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys,” the spin-off’s showrunner Paul Grellong and the flagship’s creator Eric Kripke said at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.
“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”
Fans are eagerly anticipating the new prequel, with many expecting the drama will also serve as an origin story to one of the series’ most pivotal and scandalous moments.

“There's definitely gonna be an episode centered about stormfront and soldier boy starting the first ever herogasm event,” one viewer predicted on Reddit.
To which another hilariously replied: “Hear me out, Liberty. What if a bunch of Supes had sex with each other?”
And a third added: “I could definitely see that being in season 1.”
Another asked: “Will we get the origin of herogasm too?”
While an excited fan exclaimed on Twitter: “The fact that we will most likely get an entire episode of television dedicated to the first ever herogasm hosted and created by soldier boy and stormfront???? I FEEL LIKE YALL HAVENT LET THAT SINK IN.”
Further plot details are being kept under wraps for now, but streamers already have high expectations for the next controversial chapter of The Boys saga.
