Manchester United could have an embarrassment of riches in attack next season if INEOS decide to loosen their purse strings in the transfer market. The Red Devils can give themselves a new dimension in the final third by striking three more deals following the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.

United struggled to hit the back of the net last season, finishing the campaign on 57 goals which was the joint-lowest total in the Premier League's top half. They have already strengthened their ranks by securing a move for Zirkzee but could benefit from signing another striker who has proven to be prolific.

Ivan Toney might just be the ideal addition for United, given that he is reportedly available for a cut-price fee this summer. He is only tied down to Brentford until the end of next season, meaning they are under pressure to sell to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2025.

The Bees reportedly valued their man at around £70million earlier this year but are said to have reduced their demands due to a lack of interest. A bid of less than £50m would now be enough to tempt them into doing business, which could be worth every penny for United.

Toney has already shown that he is more than capable of scoring in the Premier League with 36 goals across the last three seasons. His wealth of experience would also help the likes of Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund behind the scenes even if he comes in and out of the starting XI.

United could also reap the rewards of signing another versatile winger to supplement Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Amad Diallo. Xavi Simons is thought to be among their potential targets, with the Dutchman able to bring an exciting blend of current ability and sky-high potential.

It has been reported that Paris Saint-Germain would be willing to accept a bid of around £70m, but it remains to be seen if United will be prepared to meet their demands. Simons is capable of excelling for the Red Devils for years to come and would therefore be a shrewd signing even at that price.

He would certainly be a huge upgrade on Antony, who has failed to impress at United since joining from Ajax two years ago. The Brazilian winger has been widely tipped to leave Old Trafford on loan after Erik ten Hag admitted that last season was 'not good' for him.

A loan exit for Antony would free up some much-needed space on United's wage bill, giving them room to negotiate the signings of Toney and Simons. All three deals in addition to the signing of Zirkzee could go a long way to helping United return to the Premier League's top four at the end of the season.
