Vidal is wanted at Bayern as a replacement for Bastian Schweinsteiger.
And reports yesterday claimed that the German giants had agreed a £28million fee with their Turin counterparts.
But having been linked with Arsenal earlier in the summer, the Metro claim that the Gunners aren't ready to give up on signing the 28-year-old.
It is claimed that Arsenal remain ready to match Bayern's offer for Vidal to bring the midfielder to England.
Arturo Vidal is a target for Arsenal
Mikel Arteta picked up a calf injury on Arsenal's pre-season tour, reportedly forcing Arsene Wenger to reconsider a move.
Juventus have been busy in the transfer market this summer with Sami Khedira - signed on a free transfer from Real Madrid - looking like a ready-made replacement for Vidal.
