Man Utd News: RVP's warning to Liverpool, Carvalho BOOST, Falcao's idol revelation
ROBIN VAN PERSIE has warned Liverpool he is nearly back to his best, while Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of William Carvalho. Meanwhile, Radamel Falcao has revealed why he idolised Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Van Persie has sent an ominous warning to Liverpool ahead of Sunday's clash at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman helped himself to two goals to help United see off Southampton 2-1 and climb to third in the table as a result.
He told The Sun: "I’ve been feeling very well over the last couple of weeks.
"Physically, I can make my runs over and over again. I had a feeling that it was coming."
Manchester United remain on alert for William Carvalho, who has also been linked to Arsenal and Chelsea.
The aforementioned Premier League clubs have been quoted £35m for Sporting Lisbon's holding midfielder.
