Steve McClaren insists Derby's Wembley heartbreak has not affected the team this season[GETTY]
Pre-season Championship favourites Derby have collected four points out of nine following Tuesday's shock 3-2 defeat at Charlton
But Rams boss McClaren insists last season's Wembley woe remains fully behind them.
He said: "You expect to go straight back into the grove but that can sometimes take a while.
"But there's no issues. We are just not reaching the same levels as last season.
"That is is normal but the attitude of the players remains the same.
"We just need that consistency back."
Derby midfielder Craig Bryson said: "It takes time and a few games to get back in it.
"We will be fine and will win games with the way we are dominating teams."
