Jose Mourinho has banked himself a new role four months after being dismissed by AS Roma - but it isn't in the dugout. Instead, the three-time Premier League-winning manager is set to join a star-studded TNT Sports pundit line-up for this weekend's Champions League final.
However, Chelsea have already moved to appoint outgoing Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca. And United, who may yet stick with Ten Hag, are linked with Pochettino, Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Tuchel.
Despite boasting a sprawling trophy cabinet from spells with the likes of Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid - not to mention Chelsea and the Red Devils - Mourinho seems set to wait a little longer for his next managerial opportunity.
But his expertise will at least be put to good use on Saturday evening, with the 61-year-old set to join TNT Sports for a mouth-watering Champions League final showdown between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Alongside Mourinho, United legends Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves will be joined by Liverpool hero Steve McManaman, while former Rangers goal machine Ally McCoist will be on co-commentary duties at Wembley.

Mourinho should be able to provide plenty of insight when the team analyse Real Madrid, having taken charge of Los Blancos between 2010 and 2013, leading them to two domestic trophies and a La Liga title.
The Spanish giants beat reigning European champions Manchester City in this year's quarter-finals, before scraping a narrow victory over Bayern Munich in the semis. Dortmund, meanwhile, are hoping to upset the odds after stumbling to a disappointing fifth-place finish in the Bundesliga.

As the search goes on for his next long-term opportunity, Mourinho has reportedly held talks with Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah. Last year, the veteran coach made it clear that he would be open to managing in the Middle East.
"I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there," he told MBC. "I don't know when, but I am pretty sure of it. No one knows the future, but I will definitely do this. Doors are always open for me in Saudi Arabia. I want to feel the development there."
