Erik ten Hag wants Man Utd to use FA Cup final defeat as motivation
This summer, Manchester United are looking to sign a world-class striker capable of scoring 30 goals a season. If only time travel was a real thing because, if it was, then Erik ten Hag would likely use it to bring Ruud van Nistelrooy into his side. The former striker turns 47 today - and is still fondly remembered at Old Trafford, despite his bitter departure.

They’ve seen what Erling Haaland has done at Manchester City and know they need a rival for the Norwegian to reel in Pep Guardiola’s side.
The problem is, however, that top forwards don’t come cheap.
United’s dream target is Harry Kane, a player who has long been considered one of the best No 9’s in the whole of world football.
Yet Tottenham won’t let him go unless the Red Devils cough up a massive £100million.
That’s too much for United, who are working on a strict budget amid the ongoing takeover saga.

As Van Nistelrooy turns 47, United can be forgiven for pining for the past.
Instead, it’s unclear what the future currently holds for Ten Hag and his side.
