Man Utd have already decided their second and third signings after Mason Mount transfer
Manchester United are set to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea after agreeing a transfer fee for the playmaker on Thursday.

Manchester United are now set to pursue transfer deals for a new goalkeeper and a striker after agreeing a fee with Chelsea for Mason Mount. The England international is set to move to Old Trafford for a fee worth £60million. But Erik ten Hag wants more reinforcements as he targets Premier League title glory next season.
Manchester United had spent the first few weeks of the summer chasing a deal for Mount. And they managed to finally strike gold on Thursday, having previously seen three bids for the England international turned down.
United are happy with their deal for Mount, believing the 24-year-old has the potential to shine alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park.
Now, however, they’re set to move on to other targets. A new goalkeeper is a priority at Old Trafford, with David De Gea currently set to leave on a free transfer on Friday.
The Spain international is a modern-day legend, having been at the club ever since his move from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
But while United previously wanted De Gea to stay, there now appears a big chance the 32-year-old will leave.
Al-Nassr have emerged as potential suitors for the Red Devils star, who won the Premier League Golden Glove award last season.
And when it comes to potential replacements, Andre Onana sits top of Ten Hag’s wishlist. The two men previously worked together at Ajax in the Netherlands, helping the Dutch side win three Premier League titles.
Onana only left Ajax for Inter Milan 12 months ago. However, United are now hopeful he’ll move to England and fill any potential void left behind by David De Gea’s departure.
Man Utd may hand Erik ten Hag second transfer this week after £60m Mason Mount deal
Manchester United could provide Erik ten Hag with a quickfire second signing after striking a £60million agreement for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. Ten Hag is set to make his first summer addition, but his next recruit could become clear beyond Friday.

With Onana their second target, a new forward has now been pushed down the priority list.
But make no mistake about it - United want to reinforce that area of their squad this summer. The calibre of marksman they recruit may hinge on player sales, with the Red Devils needing to balance their books to afford a marquee arrival.
Scott McTominay, Fred, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho are just some of the players who may be shown the door in order to raise funds.
United would love to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham, despite the obvious difficulties involved.
Victor Osimhen is another player of interest, though Napoli would want a figure north of £100m to do business.
And Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani are in the club’s sights as well, with Goncalo Ramos and Dusan Vlahovic also linked. United are determined to wrap up signings as quickly as possible, despite takeover talk surrounding the club.
And who they’re able to bring in, in addition to Mount, remains to be seen. A new goalkeeper and striker is being prioritised, however.
But a fresh right-back arriving also can’t be ruled out if United’s budget stretches to that. Regarding De Gea, meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand has slammed the way United are treating their No 1.
“Put aside whether you think David de Gea is good enough, he’s been an unreal servant to the football club,” he stated.
“Twelve years I think he’s had at the club, been player of the year four or five times and been the best player in a few of those years. He had moments where it didn’t go well but in the main he served the club remarkably well.
“There’s a lot of people calling for him to leave, some will say he should stay, there’s a new style of goalkeeper that they want, that’s understandable.
“Erik ten Hag has a type of goalkeeper that he wants and if De Gea isn’t that goalkeeper then he has to hold his hands up and say ‘you know what, I love it here, I’ve had a great run here but if the manager doesn’t want me then I have to go, or be no.2’, whatever.
“I’m just a little bit gutted with the way that the club have handled the David de Gea situation. I think it comes down to communication.”
