Chelsea assistant gives backing to struggling Lukaku
The Professional Footballers' Association have released a statement saying that they cannot discipline Kurt Zouma after disturbing footage emerged of him physically abusing a cat - although they highly condemn the West Ham defender's actions and note that the behaviour 'is not acceptable'.
Chilling footage was leaked in by The Sun on Monday evening, showing Zouma drop-kicking his cat before throwing designer shoes at it and then slapping the helpless pet in front of a child.
The video was filmed by his brother on the popular app Snapchat, with the former Chelsea defender's sibling laughing as Zouma carries out the horrific abuse.
It is said that Zouma took 'revenge' on the cat after it had made a slight mess of his £2million mansion.
The Met Police have said they will not launch a probe despite thousands contacting the RSPCA, meaning Zouma will face no formal charges.
And the PFA have spoken out on the matter, slamming his behaviour.

"It is not for us to discipline him, it is for the employer to discipline, but our role is to tell the player this type of behaviour is not acceptable," the PFA said.
Their statement was completely different to that of his employer West Ham, who were shocked and horrified at what had happened.
"West Ham United unreservedly condemns the actions of our player, Kurt Zouma, in the video that has circulated," the club said.
"We have spoken to Kurt and will be dealing with the matter internally, but we would like to make it clear that we in no way condone cruelty towards animals."
