Conte outlines what Tottenham can achieve before end of season
Jack Wilshere admits Tottenham are looking good to finish in the Premier League top four this season. The former Arsenal midfielder admitted it "hurts" him to concede that Antonio Conte's side are on their way up. Spurs currently sit fifth in the table, a point behind West Ham in fourth with three games in hand.
Tottenham fell short of both Champions League and Europa League qualification last season and had to settle for the newly-formed Europa Conference League.
They crashed out of that competition against the odds at the group stage.
But Conte is yet to taste defeat in the Premier League since replacing the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
Wilshere has never failed to hide his feelings on Spurs, once starting the 'What do you think of Tottenham?' chant at an FA Cup trophy parade.

But even the 30-year-old has to admit they are looking good under their Italian boss.
Wilshere told talkSPORT: "Even though they were having a little bit of a blip, they've got a great manager and results like [against Leicester] and the way it happened, that can change a season.
"It can give you belief, obviously the confidence is going to be high.
"Yeah, it hurts me to stay but they are looking good for top four.

“Until the end, we have to fight. We have to try to get the best possible result.
"Tonight, to fight until the end wasn’t easy, but we must be very happy. Next time when we create so many chances, we have to score, we have to score and not suffer in the way we did tonight.
“You must have belief, belief in the team, in the possibility that in only two minutes, you can score another goal. As I said before, to lose this game, even to draw, it wasn’t right.
“At the end, we won the game, and we deserved to win this game. Until the end, you have to be concentrated, to be focused and not to give up, be ready to fight until the end.
"This must be our philosophy, then, if the opponent deserves to win, we are the first to clap them. Otherwise, until the end, we have to fight."
