Conte outlines what Tottenham can achieve before end of season
Tottenham’s last-gasp win over Leicester will give Antonio Conte’s side further hope of reaching the top four come the end of the season. Steven Bergwijn’s dramatic stoppage time double turned the game on its head and ensured Spurs headed back to London with all three points.
The Dutchman was one of three substitutes alongside Giovani Lo Celso, and Matt Doherty, who came on to try and turn the game in Spurs’ favour. And all three players helped do just that.
All three have faced uncertain futures in north London in recent times, but the recent performance may offer them a further chance to impress.
With that in mind, Express Sport takes a look at three Tottenham players who may well have saved their futures after the last-gasp Leicester win.

Steven Bergwijn
The 24-year-old only entered the fray in the 79th minute, but it was just enough time to showcase his abilities.
Bergwijn has struggled for form at Spurs in recent months, however the forward staked his claim with two well-taken goals.
The second was the pick of the two, with Bergwijn latching onto Harry Kane’s through ball before rounding Kasper Schmeichel and slotting the ball into the back of the net via the post to send the away support into raptures.

After falling out of favour under Conte, Lo Celso has had to settle for a place among the substitutes in recent weeks.
Like Bergwijn, the Argentine midfielder is yet to start a Premier League game under Conte.
The 25-year-old started in the Spurs’ 2-1 second-leg Carabao Cup defeat against Chelsea, but was given just 16 minutes to impress on Wednesday against Leicester.
While Lo Celso certainly didn’t perform as well as Bergwijn and Doherty on the night, he still put in a noteworthy performance in the heroic comeback.
