Man United: Pundit discusses Anthony Martial’s ‘ability’
Newcastle are reportedly lining up a loan move for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial as they look to stay in the Premier League. The France international has struggled for action at Old Trafford ever since the Hollywood homecoming of Cristiano Ronaldo. Now, a move to St James’ Park could be on the cards.
According to The Sun, Newcastle are interested in Martial to boost their firepower.
The United star has made just 10 appearances across all competitions this term, netting just once in the process.
Though Juventus are keen to sign Martial, it’s stated the Toon are ready to blow the Serie A giants out of the water by paying a £6million loan fee for him.
Newcastle know they can’t sign the United star outright, not while they’re toiling, but believe they stand a chance of bringing the former Monaco star to Tyneside this winter.
So, with that being the case, Express Sport will now take a look at the shirt numbers Martial could take on if he makes the move in January.

Therefore, it’s possible Martial would be fine with taking the bizarre No 4 shirt.
It was last worn by Matty Longstaff, who is currently plying his trade in Aberdeen.
But cult heroes such as Yohan Cabaye, Kevin Nolan and Nolberto Solano have all done it justice in the past.
