Solskjaer previews Man Utd v Liverpool in Premier League

"I think Manchester United have made really poor decisions in the last five to 10 years that are affecting us now," Sanderson said.
"You look at the signing of Donny van de Beek - why did we get him from Ajax if we were never going to play him? Why did we do that? What kind of decision is that?
"I don't think he's a bad player but everyone now thinks he's not good enough for Manchester United because he comes on for two minutes, he's not getting any minutes.
"What kind of decision is that? Why did we get him? And that goes back to what is the philosophy of what we're trying to do?
"Because you can't just get players and throw them in there and expect them to perform.

"There has to be a plan of where Sancho's going to play, why did we get Sancho?"
Ahead of the visit of Liverpool, Solskjaer has been firm in his stance that United must catch their rivals soon.
Solskjaer said: "You have to make sure you are better than them and in the last four years they’ve been tremendous and we are in truth chasing them.
“The last four years, the results, we have been behind them. Now we’ve begun to take steps but the next big step is to be above them because we were above them last season.
“But that’s history and hopefully this season we can achieve something better.”
