Paul Pogba is adamant he did not touch Ruben Neves after a full-blooded tackle left the Wolves midfielder in a heap - only for Manchester United to net what proved to be the winner moments later. The Red Devils set a new Premier League record as they extended their unbeaten streak on the road to 28 games following their edgy 1-0 triumph at Molineux, courtesy of Mason Greenwood's late strike.

And as Pogba headed over to give his interview with Sky Sports at full-time, the home crowd started to chant "cheat, cheat, cheat," at the World Cup winner for his part in United's cagey victory.
The crowd were then silence and broke out into applause after Pogba handed a young Wolves fan in the stands his shirt.
Pogba though, later got the chance to offer his views on the incident and he remains adamant he took nothing but the ball in the tackle with Neves.
"My view is this is the Premier League," he told Geoff Shreeves.

"It's a 50-50, every weekend it happens and today it was like a question?
"If it was a foul, it would have been a foul but it wasn't, it was a 50-50.
"We win the ball and we score. I don't see it, I need to see it again but I don't touch him."
Meanwhile, Neves has now explained his side of the story and he believes Wolves were hard done by, by the officials.

"Everyone saw it, everyone saw my leg, we always do meetings and everything with referees about VAR, I don’t know why," Neves said.
"They said before the season started they will look for contact – if the contact is strong enough, they will give the foul. I showed them my leg.
"I think maybe because last game it was a foul before the Southampton goal, maybe now they did the opposite. I showed my leg to the ref, I showed to the assistant ref, I cannot say anything more.
"After the game he said ‘you both go to the ball’ and I said ‘yes, we both go to win the ball but I was the one who touched the ball’. It’s a foul, a clear foul."
