Euro 2016: Bale tells Wales to invoke spirit of 2016
Gareth Bale took a cheeky dig at Aaron Ramsey after Wales beat Turkey to be on the cusp of reaching the knockout stages of Euro 2020. Goals from Ramsey and Connor Roberts sealed a 2-0 win for Robert Page's side in Baku. Bale missed a penalty at 1-0 to give the Welsh a nervous last 30 minutes but provided a fine assist for Roberts' stoppage-time strike.

Bale was also grateful to play in front of a crowd in Baku and paid tribute to the small number of visiting Welsh fans.
He said: "Yeah [the atmosphere] actually helped because playing in front of no fans is difficult to get your adrenaline going and really push to get to the levels that you need to get to.
"So the fans were fantastic, I know most of them were Turkish, but the Welsh fans were incredible again.
"There weren't many but they made it loud and they made us keep going.
"They're the Red Wall, obviously we want to thank the fans at home for supporting us as well and I'm sure they'll be cheering in their millions tonight."
