Man Utd not meeting Sancho asking price is 'bizarre' says Cross
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told the club’s top brass to drop interest in all Jadon Sancho alternatives and focus on the Borussia Dortmund star, reports say. The England international is the Norweigan’s priority target for this summer. And he’ll be hoping it’s fourth time lucky when it comes to the club bringing in the 21-year-old.

But Solskjaer feels the England international will love life at Old Trafford, especially once he plays in front of a packed out Stretford End.
United are hoping to deploy the Dortmund star on the right wing of their attack, an area they’ve struggled in since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure in 2009.
And, if that happens, they’ll boast one of the most formidable attacks on the planet.
Sancho will likely play with Marcus Rashford on the opposite flank and Bruno Fernandes down the middle, with the likes of Amad and Mason Greenwood then used from the bench.
And, up top, would be Edinson Cavani - who extended his stay with the club earlier in the campaign having previously been on the radar of Boca Juniors.
United legend Gary Neville thinks Sancho won’t necessarily be needed, however, if Solskjaer sees Greenwood as a right winger for the long term.
"They definitely need a centre-back to go with Harry Maguire. Although I think the back four has done well, I think the defence has done well but they’re at an absolute maximum where they are", he recently said.
"I think Aaron Wan-Bissaka is improving weekly and is getting better.
“I think if Luke Shaw can stay fit he’s the best and always has been in terms of talent.
"With Harry Maguire they’ve got someone who is incredibly reliable and can lead the team, I just think that another centre back comes in and completes that back four.
"It’s a risk because I think Maguire and Lindelof work really well but it’s a risk you have to take to get to the next level.

"If you look at Dias, Van Dijk, Harry Maguire they’re kingpins in the centre of defence but they all have good partners as well, and I think United need another one in there."
He then added: "Up front is an issue.
“Over the last few years, we’ve never had a fixed right-winger, I think left’s okay with Marcus Rashford. You could argue is Mason Greenwood a right-winger?
"That’s the question is he a right winger or is he a centre forward? If he’s a centre-forward in the long term, Manchester United need a right-winger.

Speaking earlier this month, meanwhile, United owner Joel Glazer vowed to back Solskjaer on the transfer front and turn the club into a major force again.
"Our goal is to win every competition we compete in, and we will continue to invest in our Academy and in the transfer market to support the manager in an effort to meet the club’s goals,” he said.
“As a club we have devoted a lot of time and resources over the last several years updating and further developing our vast global scouting network to adapt to the modern football environment.
"This is a project that should provide a foundation for long-term success in the years to come.
“In addition, as you all know, we have also been focused on growing and developing our women’s team in line with the traditions and values of the club, and we are committed to continuing that process."
