AC Milan are in talks to sign Olivier Giroud as well as Fikayo Tomori, reports in Italy claim. The Italian giants are wasting no time as they look to build on their second-place finish in Serie A last season as they secured the return of Champions League football.
Tomori has been excellent since arriving on loan from the Blues in January, with many questioning exactly why he was allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.
Now AC Milan look set to secure a bargain by triggering their £24million option to buy the centre-back.
Milan legends Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi have been raving about Tomori yet he's not the only Chelsea player who could be sealing a permanent move to the San Siro this summer.
Multiple reports claim Giroud is closing in on a move to Milan on a free transfer.

Giroud fits the bill and is a serial winner having now won the Champions League, World Cup, Europa League, Ligue 1 and several FA Cups.
The target man played with Tomori for 18 months at Chelsea and now looks set to link up with his former teammate in Italy.
Meanwhile, Ian Wright has questioned why the Blues defender was left out of Gareth Southgate's provisional England squad after such an impressive second half of the season.
“Tomori made the squad at one stage,” said Wright. “You’ve got a legend like Paulo Maldini saying they want him and they want to build their team on him, their defence on Tomori.

“And he can’t make the 33. How Tomori can’t make the 33 is beyond me.”
Milan will try to negotiate with Chelsea and see if they'd be willing to let Tomori leave for cheaper than £24m.
However, Chelsea believe that is still cheap and are therefore unlikely to reduce their asking price.
