Tottenham defender Serge Aurier has said that he will not be signing a new contract at the club and claims he has an agreement to leave. Aurier’s boyhood club Paris Saint-Germain are interested in a return for the Ivory Coast international.
Spurs signed Aurier from PSG for £23million in 2017 but he has recently fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane.
The 28-year-old played in just half of Tottenham’s Premier League games this season and often found himself dropped from the matchday squad by Jose Mourinho.
Right-back Matt Doherty had also been signed from Wolves last summer to take Aurier’s place.
Mourinho was sacked and replaced by former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason in April. Aurier played in each of Mason’s first four matches, including the Carabao Cup defeat against Manchester City.

“Everyone knows that if I wanted to extend my contract at Tottenham, I'd have already done so,” Aurier told French outlet L’Equipe.
“I'm not going to do that in six months' time. I've experienced the Premier League and a Champions League final. I've reached the end of a cycle and it's time to look elsewhere.
“Both parties, the board and my agents are in agreement in terms of the conditions, so we will see.

“I've never hidden my desire to go back to PSG one day. It's my boyhood club and I'm still a PSG supporter, so I feel free to talk about it, but I don't want people to think I'm just issuing a come-and-get-me plea and I'm not closing the door on anyone.
“If the club does make an offer this summer, PSG will certainly be among my top choices.”
Aurier has played 110 times for Spurs during the past four years.
The club faces an uncertain future with a couple of players set to depart.
Striker Harry Kane has made public his desire to move to a club challenging for trophies.
The England captain is wanted by Man City, Chelsea, Manchester United but chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly unwilling to sell to an English rival. It would also take at least £150m to prise Kane away from Spurs.
Meanwhile, Gareth Bale’s loan has ended and the Welshman will return to the uncertainty at Real Madrid.
Head coach Zinedine Zidane, with whom Bale shared a difficult relationship, departed last week.
