Liverpool's brilliant starting XI with Ibrahima Konate and two other signings
Liverpool are looking likely to sign Ibrahima Konate when the transfer window reopens this summer.
Liverpool: Klopp on Jota's electric form
Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Ibrahima Konate ahead of the summer transfer window. The Reds are confident of landing the defender, who has also been linked with Manchester United. So Express Sport will now take a look at how Jurgen Klopp’s side could look next season with the centre-back in their ranks, as well as Kylian Mbappe and Aaron Ramsey.
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
Regardless of what happens at Liverpool, Alisson Becker will be their No 1.
The Brazil international hasn’t operated at the same level this season, which is understandable given everything that’s gone on.
But Alisson is still one of, if not the undisputed, best goalkeeper on the planet.
Liverpool are in safe hands with the Samba star between the sticks.
And Alisson won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Defence: Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson
Liverpool are going to look drastically better defensively the moment Virgil van Dijk returns from injury.
The Netherlands international is unlikely to feature again this season after being crocked against Everton back in October.
And, with Konate alongside him, Liverpool should be far more solid.
At right-back will be Trent Alexander-Arnold, despite the England international struggling at times this term.
And, at left-back, will be Andy Robertson.

Midfield: Ramsey, Thiago, Henderson
Liverpool could benefit by moving Thiago Alcantara to the No 10 role.
The Spain international has struggled for consistency ever since joining from Bayern Munich back in the summer transfer window.
And Liverpool would benefit by playing him slightly further, with the midfielder shining there during his time at Bayern.
Jordan Henderson is primed to remain a vital figure for the Reds.
And Ramsey could join as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who is widely expected to join Barcelona this summer.
Forwards: Mbappe, Firmino, Mane
Admittedly, we’re going a bit fantasy football here.
But Liverpool would love to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, despite Real Madrid’s longstanding interest in the striker.
If that dream move were to happen, it would likely mean Mohamed Salah packing his bags and leaving the club.
Roberto Firmino would keep his place in the No 9 role.
And Sadio Mane would then be deployed on the left wing.
