Chelsea: Tuchel explains why Abraham was not in squad
Chelsea are reportedly ready to make an offer to Gianluigi Donnarumma with the goalkeeper set to become a free agent in the summer. Donnarumma burst onto the scene at just 16 years of age back in 2015 with high expectations on his future.
He's since established himself as AC Milan's first-choice goalkeeper despite being just 22 years of age and already has bags of experience on the European stage.
But the Italian side are now in a position where they may lose their prized asset for free at the end of the season.
Donnarumma is out of contract in the summer with negotiations seemingly stalling on an extension.
Milan technical director Paolo Maldini explained back in January that contract talks were "frozen" until the transfer window closed.

"We talk, but for now we have frozen the renewal issue to think about the January transfer market," Maldini said.
"We were protagonists, the ownership allowed us to act within certain parameters. We are in two competitions and we have the team to get to the bottom of both."
But no progress has been made on a new deal and time is running out for the Serie A outfit.
A number of clubs will be circling for Donnarumma's signature should he become available, and it appears as though Chelsea are ready to push ahead of the queue.
According to Eurosport, the Blues are closely monitoring the goalkeeper's situation with suggestions that Thomas Tuchel is yet to be convinced by Edouard Mendy or Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Spaniard is expected to be offloaded at the end of the season, but it is claimed that the potential of signing Donnarumma is too good of an opportunity to turn down.
One sticking point for Milan is said to be that Donnarumma wants wages of £175,000-a-week, something they're not prepared to pay.
