Tottenham: Pundits discuss Dele Alli transfer rumours
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho hasn’t taken to Dele Alli at all this season. The England international has spent the majority of the campaign being frozen out and his hopes of securing a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino with Paris Saint-Germain were ended on deadline day. And now, after liking videos bashing Mourinho for his treatment of him, the playmaker could be set for even worse treatment.
He’s given the England international every chance to prove his worth in north London after taking over from Pochettino back in October 2019.
But for all of Mourinho’s attempts to reignite the playmaker’s career, it simply hasn’t worked.
Alli has looked a shadow of himself this season, with the 24-year-old making just four Premier League appearances and finding the net twice in the Europa League.
And he’s clearly unhappy with his current situation, especially given how he’d hoped to play under Pochettino in France.
Alli has now ‘liked’ two videos on social media involving Harry Redknapp and Paul Merson, with the two pundits calling for the England international to get more action.

“Don’t just discard people, get them playing. That’s your job.
“Make them feel important, make them feel like they’ve got something to offer, get them back to where they were.”
Speaking ahead of Monday's deadline, Merson admitted he was bemused by Alli's situation and could not understand why he was not allowed to leave if he was not in Mourinho's plans.
"I don’t know what’s going on with Dele Alli,” Merson told Sky Sports News.
"I watched Tottenham last night and how he doesn’t get in that team at the moment is beyond me.
"I don’t know what goes on at the training ground, but he has to play in that team – especially with Harry Kane injured.
"No one was running off the ball, and Alli when he’s at his best, he makes those runs and is a good finisher.
"I watched them against Brighton and they were just static. If he plays against Chelsea [on Thursday], you hold your hands up and understand why he isn’t being allowed to go to PSG.
