Liverpool: Klopp admits clubs want 'crazy money' for defender
Liverpool travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham this afternoon as Jurgen Klopp sweats over the condition of Joel Matip. The Reds could name a rotated defence after Fabinho was forced out through injury.
Klopp could be forced to play an inexperienced defence against the high-flying Hammers on Sunday.
The Premier League champions need a win in order to retain fourth spot in the Premier League table and prevent David Moyes’ side from leapfrogging them.
Their win over Tottenham on Thursday was marred by injuries suffered by Matip and Fabinho, leaving Klopp with a serious issue at the back.
The Reds boss will have a largely strong side to pick from, though he will be made to wait until just before the game before finding out if Matip is available.

Klopp said on Friday: “There are still glimpses of hope that it’s not serious.”
Alisson Becker is available to play in goal and will start the game.
Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both available to play, and will take the two full-back positions with Klopp set to name a 4-3-3.
At centre-back, however, he will have to choose whether to play a young line-up of Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams or to drop Jordan Henderson back from midfield.
