Liverpool: Klopp responds to Salah transfer comments
Liverpool’s board are happy with Mohamed Salah and have no plans to sell the Egypt international, according to reports. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have recently been linked with the forward in the wake of comments made by his friend, Mohamed Aboutrika, Yet it appears he’ll be staying at Anfield for the foreseeable future, in news that will surely ease the fears of Reds fans.
Liverpool have seen Salah shine ever since his arrival from Roma back in the summer transfer window of 2017.
He scored 44 goals in his first season at Anfield and, since then, has propelled them to Premier League and Champions League glory.
Salah has netted 13 times from as many appearances in the top flight this season but, despite his fine form, national team ally Aboutrika claimed he was unhappy.
He said: “I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field.
“I know Salah is not happy in Liverpool, he told me the reasons why he is not happy but they are secrets and I cannot talk about it in public.

“One of the reasons that made Salah angry was that he was not the captain against Midtjylland.”
Yet The Sun say Liverpool have no plans to part ways with their No 11 at the current moment in time.
The Reds hierarchy are said to be satisfied with the 28-year-old and there are no plans to sell him at the current moment in time, despite Real Madrid and Barcelona being linked.
Jurgen Klopp himself has already acted to put the rumours to bed, insisting there are no issues behind the scenes.
And it appears Real Madrid and Barcelona will have to wait a little while longer if they’re to attempt to lure the forward away from Merseyside at the end of the season.
