Arsenal: Arteta confuses fans with statistical breakdown
Frank Lampard has told his Chelsea players that Christmas will be 'off' with all eyes on the Boxing Day clash with Arsenal. The Blues returned to winning ways on Monday beating West Ham 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
That result emphatically ended the mini-slump that had seen Lampard’s side lose two games on the spin for the first time in 2020.
The Hammers made the trip across the capital in decent form, but goals from Thiago Silva and a Tammy Abraham brace saw the hosts return to winning ways.
But there’s little time for reflection within Lampard’s squad, as they face another London rival in the shape of Arsenal on Saturday.
The Gunners are in a wretched run of form, but the Chelsea boss is refusing to take anything for granted.

It was a different story for Abraham however, handed a start in place of Olivier Giroud, the England international made the most of his chance, bringing his Premier League tally to five.
"We needed a performance, I need to be in the right places at the right times, we had to stay patient but luckily we got the three points,” he told Sky Sports after the game.
"I need to help the team with either goals or assists, or just being a threat. It's about keep getting goals, keep being in the right place.
"It's still early doors to be looking at the table, we have to just keep picking up three points."
