And when Kane appeared on Good Morning Britain to promote Football Shirt Friday, a campaign which raises money for the Bobby Moore Fund and Cancer Research UK, presenter and high-profile Arsenal fan Piers Morgan couldn't resist referring to the striker's past.
Morgan said: "History with football shirts is quite complicated, isn't it?
"Because when you were a kid, as every Gunner knows, you were a proud Arsenal fan - what happened to you Harry Kane?"
"I played for Arsenal when I was younger and unfortunately for them they let me go," Kane replied.

"I did have the virus, I was fortunate enough not to have had it as seriously as so many people in our country," he said.
"But it wasn't pleasant or something you'd choose to have. Everything is fine now."
