Transfer Deadline Day: Roundup of all Premier League signings
Manchester United star Edinson Cavani has opened up about his relationship with his former team-mate Neymar after it emerged the Uruguayan could make his debut for the Red Devils against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Cavani signed for United on deadline day after agreeing a one-year contract with the Red Devils.
The 33-year-old signed a one-year contract with a club option for a further year after his deal at PSG expired this summer.
After his signing was confirmed, it emerged that the striker had to enter into a two-week self-isolation period as he had entered the UK from France.
That means he’ll be unable to play for United against Newcastle when the Premier League season resumes, but could be involved in their Champions League opener on October 20th.

As fate would have it, that debut could come against his former side, PSG, as they are United’s first opponents in the group stage.
Cavani left PSG as their all-time top goalscorer, and is recognised as one of the best players in the club’s history.
The lethal striker was the Parisiens’ leading striker throughout his time at the club, but had to give up some of the shine after the arrival of Neymar in 2017 for a world-record £222million.
Cavani and Neymar famously had a spat on the pitch at the Parc des Princes shortly after the Brazilian’s arrival at the club as they argued over who should take a penalty.

And Cavani has revealed that his relationship with Neymar was difficult in part because the two were completely different characters off the pitch, though he insisted he remained on good terms with the forward.
"We are very different, we didn't share many things and we think in different ways," said the striker, per SPORT. "That doesn't stop you from getting along.
"In the group we didn't all have to be friends or brothers.
“The important thing is to be friends on the pitch, protect each other, run for the other.
“What cannot be negotiated is respect and commitment on the pitch with your team-mates.
“Later in the dressing room you don't have to have a mate or go out to eat with everyone.
“The one time I argued with him, as everyone knows, was that game against Lyon.
"Everything they said afterwards is not true. Ney is a good kid."
