Chelsea: Hudson-Odoi shows off impressive skills in training
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been urged to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool by cashing in on Callum Hudson-Odoi in a deal similar to that of Rhian Brewster. Bayern Munich have revived their interest in Hudson-Odoi having tried to sign him 18 months ago.
While Brewster doesn't have the same Premier League experience as Hudson-Odoi, he was similarly tipped for a bright future at Anfield.
Liverpool though decided to cash in on Brewster with interest from several Premier League clubs as Sheffield United agreed a deal worth £23.5m which also included a buyback clause and a sell-on clause.
And Crouch believes Chelsea should strongly consider looking at striking a similar deal for Hudson-Odoi in the final hours of the transfer window.
"It comes down to what Frank thinks of the player," Crouch told BT Sport.

"But has he improved since he was that 18-year-old who burst onto the scene and took our breath away? Maybe not.
"I don’t think he’s improved at the level that I think they would have thought he would.
"Maybe it’s time [to sell him]. You look at Liverpool cashing in on Rhian Brewster…
"If you can get a buy-back clause and a potential sell-on fee it might not be a bad deal given the amount of money and the investments Chelsea have already made."
