Man Utd: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘we need to strengthen the squad’
Manchester United have reportedly ‘intensified contacts’ to sign Porto star Alex Telles. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been strongly linked with a move for Real Madrid star Sergio Reguilon. However, it appears the Red Devils could be about to change tact.

Sevilla are also in the mix to sign the 27-year-old, while Chelsea and Leicester have previously been linked.
But it’s claimed United are frontrunners in the race to sign the Brazil international, whose contract with Porto expires next summer.
Porto can’t ask for a huge fee as a result of this and it’s claimed they’ll receive less than the £22million Paris Saint-Germain recently contemplated paying.
And it’s said that Telles’ representatives are already in Manchester to thrash out an agreement that will see the Samba star move to the Theatre of Dreams.
United have had five Brazilian players represent the club over the years.
Kleberson arrived after the 2002 World Cup but, despite shining for his country as they won the prize, struggled to settle to life in the Premier League.
United once had high hopes for Rodrigo Possebon but he, too, never realised his potential at Old Trafford.
Anderson arrived from Porto in the summer of 2007 and sparkled at times, helping the club win four Premier League titles during his time there.
And Rafael and Fabio Da Silva both became cult heroes during their spell at the Theatre of Dreams - though both never became the full-backs Sir Alex Ferguson thought they would be.
Meanwhile, speaking in July, Telles admitted he was unsure what the future holds.
“Talking about my future is a complicated subject,” the 27-year-old said.
“Lots of things come out (in the media) without reason and without my knowing more. I know it’s part of football.
“But it’s also good for me. It proves that I am doing a good job. The best answer I could give is to work everyday.”
On Sancho, United remain determined to strike a deal.
But they’re still unwilling to meet Borussia Dortmund’s massive £108million asking price, with the club mindful of how paying such a fee would look while the coronavirus crisis remains ongoing.
