Man Utd: Pundits discuss ‘major development’ in Sancho transfer
Manchester United think Borussia Dortmund’s decision to use a third party in transfer negotiations is unusual as they continue to seek a breakthrough. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to land the England international this summer. But, at the time of writing, there’s yet to be a breakthrough in negotiations that would see the forward move to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho was hopeful of recruiting the forward back in the summer transfer window of 2017, only to miss out with the attacker choosing to join Borussia Dortmund at the time.
United enquired about signing Sancho last year but missed out, with their failure to secure Champions League qualification counting against them.

United have spent the last few weeks locked in talks with Dortmund via a third party, with Marco Lichtsteiner acting on behalf of the German giants.
