Liverpool: Thiago Alcantara would ‘strengthen squad’ says pundit
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp doesn’t want to sign Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich, according to reports. And it’s claimed the German has considered four things when it comes to the 29-year-old. The Spain international is expected to leave the Allianz Arena this summer and the Reds, as well as Manchester United, have been linked with a summer swoop.

Meanwhile, regarding Thiago, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently admitted they’d be willing to part ways with the former Barcelona star this summer.
“He is a top boy on and off the pitch,” Rummenigge said at the start of the month.
“We had serious negotiations with him and fulfilled all of his wishes. But it looks like he might want to do something new again at the end of his career.
“We have never had any contact with Liverpool. If he wants to do that, we have to deal with it.
“We don’t want to lose a player for free next year. I say that very clearly.”
But he refused to elaborate on the Bayern star, saying: "I have no idea who will play for me next year.
“There is nothing to say at the moment.
"Thiago Alcantara is a great player, but also a Bayern Munich player. That’s actually all there is to say. There’s nothing to say!"
Where Thiago ends up remains to be seen.
While United have also emerged as suitors a move to Old Trafford looks unlikely, with Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish their transfer priorities instead.
