Klopp says he has ‘nothing to say’ on Werner transfer
Liverpool icon John Barnes believes signing a player like Danny Drinkwater would help Jurgen Klopp improve his squad depth heading into next season. The Reds are likely to make some changes to their squad in the summer with Adam Lallana leaving as a free agent.

Chelsea soon swooped in to strike a deal but it gave a hint that Klopp may not have bags of money to spend on new additions this summer.
Still, having not been very active in the past three transfer markets, Klopp will want some new faces to freshen things up.
Liverpool certainly aren't short of midfield options with Fabinho, Georgina Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all fighting for starting spots.
But Barnes believes signing a player like Drinkwater would help strengthen Klopp's chances of being title contenders.
"Even from a playing perspective, they need to improve or they need to generate new players, the template that Liverpool has, there are lots of players out there," he said on Premier League Daily.
"You look at a player who can come and fit into our midfield where Man City would go, 'no, he's not for us because of his 'technical' ability' but he can fit into what Liverpool want.
"If Jurgen Klopp stays, and he has this template, there are lots of players out there.
"I'm looking at Leicester when they had Danny Drinkwater, players who people might not think are great players, they could fit into what Liverpool want and still make Liverpool be one of the best teams.

"If Klopp stays and that philosophy stays, Liverpool is a team I think can continue to maintain this consistency.
"Man City are always going to need special players, we - and I don't want to be disrespectful to Liverpool players saying they're not special - but in terms of what other people may think, we are always able to get players like that."
Liverpool are back in action again tonight as they host Crystal Palace.
Klopp's side need just five points to clinch the title and that could happen on July 2 when they take on Manchester City at the Etihad.
