Manchester United remain favourites to get a deal over the line for Jadon Sancho this summer but have baulked at Borussia Dortmund's £100m asking price.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to team up Sancho with England colleague Marcus Rashford to give the Red Devils a new look in attack.
However, the Daily Mail report United will not rush in for the winger and are prepared to wait it out to see if Dortmund lower their asking price.
United chief Ed Woodward has admitted the coronavirus pandemic has hit the bank balances of football clubs hard, but they were still expected to spend big on Sancho.

New top Chelsea target
Chelsea have now got Ben Chilwell at the top of their summer shopping list after wrapping up deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to bolster Frank Lampard's squad.
The Blues are looking to complete an overhaul which will see them capable of challenging for top trophies from next season.
And it has emerged, via Le 10 Sport, that snapping up Chilwell from Leicester is their No 1 priority in what's becoming a busy summer at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool in £100m snub
Liverpool have reservations about paying £100m for Jadon Sancho and are unlikely to launch a bid unless Borussia Dortmund rethink their valuation.
Jurgen Klopp will be eager to bolster his squad where possible this summer to help the Reds go on and build a dynasty.
But it seems Sancho will probably not be trading Signal Iduna Park for Anfield ahead of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.
The Daily Mail report that, along with concerns over Sancho's off-field disciplinary record, Liverpool are unimpressed by his whopping price tag.

Arsenal in swap deal talks
Arsenal and Roma are locked in negotiations over a swap deal which would see Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Justin Kluivert trade clubs on a permanent basis.
Mkhitaryan has been on loan at the Stadio Olimpico since last September and has admitted he is willing to stay there full time.
Arsenal are now looking into getting Kluivert in return for the Armenian but have hit a stumbling block in talks over an agreement.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato report Roma value Kluivert more than Mkhitaryan and Mino Raiola is trying to get Arsenal to accept that stance so a deal can happen.

Harry Kane exit stance
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho insists Harry Kane is happy in north London and will be going nowhere this summer.
The England captain has previously been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United, but Mourinho is sure he is staying put.
"What the club can do? The club doesn’t need to do anything," Mourinho said. "The club just needs to say: ‘Harry Kane is ours, Harry Kane has a long-term contract, Harry Kane is not for sale, Harry Kane is Tottenham, Harry Kane is staying.’
"What do you have to do? We have to do nothing. We want the same, we want the same. He doesn’t want anything different from what Mr Levy wants, Mr Lewis wants and I want. He doesn’t want anything different than us."
