Thomas Partey scores unreal goal for Atletico Madrid
Manchester United need a player similar to Liverpool midfielder Fabinho, according to former Red Devils striker Louis Saha. Saha reckons Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey is a player who could fill that void for United. Partey has been linked with Arsenal ahead of the next transfer window, with the player's father talking up a move to the Emirates in recent months.
Saha admits United do have a number of options in midfield, with Fred, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic all impressing in the club's current 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
However, he doubts whether the trio have the qualities of Liverpool defensive midfielder Fabinho and reckons Partey, 27, could be an option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"[Partey's] a top player," Saha told compare.bet.
"He’s a defensive presence and a tremendous prospect.
"Whether he can make an impact right away remains to be seen, as we have McTominay, Fred and Matic.

"For us we have to keep our feet on the ground, keep training well every day and listen to the coaching staff and the ideas they’re portraying to us and put that into practice on the pitch.
"It’s strange with no fans at the minute but hopefully in time we’ll be able to get back to normal and resume where we left off after the last game.”
McTominay helped United to a 1-1 draw with Tottenham last Friday, with a visit from Sheffield United next on the agenda on Wednesday.
