Liverpool have enquired about a summer transfer for Wolves forward Adama Traore as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his squad. The 24-year-old has made a huge impact at Molineux this season putting him on the radar of the Premier League leaders.
Super-agent Jorge Mendes is keen to get involved in the deal with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City also interested.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport who say Mendes has now taken charge of negotiations with Liverpool.
The agent has close ties with Wolves as he represents Nuno Espirito Santo as well as six stars including Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves.
Traore has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Wolves, with four goals and seven assists in the Premier League, putting him on the radar of the best clubs in the world.
The winger still has three years left on his contract with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich also monitoring the situation.
Mendes does not represent Traore but he is looking to cash-in as an intermediary in helping any deal that goes through.
