Man Utd: Pogba is a better player than Fernandes says pundit
Manchester United fans have many reasons to be excited ahead of the Premier League’s return. There’ll be more of Odion Ighalo to enjoy, with the Nigeria international’s loan spell at the club now extended until January. Marcus Rashford is now fully fit and raring to go again. And then there’s Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba, a midfield partnership that has the potential to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.
Manchester United haven’t seen much of Pogba, never mind the best of him this season.
The France international has been out since December and, in the time since, talk of a move to either Real Madrid or Juventus has continued to gather pace.
In the meantime, United fans have found their new hero.
Fernandes signed on the dotted line from Sporting Lisbon in January and, in the short time since, has proven himself to be a sensation.
The Portugal international has found the net three times since his arrival against Club Brugge, Watford and Everton respectively.
And the 25-year-old has also clocked up three assists - including in big matches against Chelsea and Manchester City.

Due to Pogba’s injury woes, the Portugal international is yet to get the chance to grace the same field as the 2018 World Cup winner.
But United are excited behind the scenes, feeling as though the partnership could help bring the glory days back to the place known as the Theatre of Dreams.
According to The Times, things have started well. The pair are already getting on as they plot a way to terrorise Premier League defences.
And United will certainly need the pair firing on all cylinders if they’re to secure a place in the top four - and a spot in next season’s Champions League too.
Pogba and Fernandes have been working on routines and patterns of play with Angel Gomes and Nemanja Matic.
