Man Utd: Pundit discusses Solskjaer's transfer plans
Manchester United retain confidence that Jude Bellingham will choose a move to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side rather than Borussia Dortmund, reports say. The 16-year-old has been in sparkling form in the Championship this season, despite his young age. And United are determined to bring him in when the transfer window opens again.
Manchester United have been impressed by Bellingham’s form for Birmingham, with the teenager producing some composed and measured displays in the middle of the park.
And Solskjaer is determined to bring him to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
United have already gone on a charm offensive, showing Bellingham round their training base prior to the coronavirus crisis.
Once there he met Matt Judge and Ed Woodward.
And Sir Alex Ferguson was also on hand to meet the youngster.
Dortmund are also in the picture to sign Bellingham, with the Bundesliga giants always on the lookout for the best young talent the world has to offer.

They view the 16-year-old as a generational talent, a midfielder capable of reaching the very top of the game.
And their pursuit of the youngster was recently hailed by Rio Ferdinand, who expressed a belief that Bellingham would be a good signing.
"Hopefully that let’s Man United in the back door and take him – unless we’re at the front of queue already,” Ferdinand said after reading a rumour that the coronavirus crisis could boost their chances of securing the player’s signature.
“Really good-looking footballer in the way he plays, the balance, the poise he’s got, the maturity at such a young age. I want to see more.
"But you’re buying this kid, the price tag is phenomenal, £30million for a kid, for a 16-year-old boy. It’s unbelievable.
“But it’s the way of the world now, and the way you’ve got to think about it is: if you’re paying £30m and we keep him for 10 years it’s money well spent.
"It’s a gamble, it’s an expensive gamble, but the kid – if you’re playing in the Championship and doing what he’s doing and looking the player he is – it’s a gamble, yeah, but a calculated one.
"I think he’s someone I would 100% take.
“If I’m Man United now, go in and get him. You can understand why the likes of Borussia Dortmund are trying to get him, trying to take him. The kid seems to me to have it all."
