While he has accepted that the Liverpool ship has now sailed, he will be quietly dreaming of a return to Anfield.
Now, Klopp has set a precedent, that the grass isn't always greener after life at Liverpool.
He can now use Coutinho as an example that Liverpool should be viewed as a final destination to everyone, not a stepping stone.

Should he win the Premier League this season, there is always a small chance that he may consider a new challenge.

But his former team-mate Coutinho has proven that such a big decision does not always go to plan and it can leave you red-faced.
