Aubameyang transfer 'a good deal' for Chelsea says expert
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is keen on signing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer with the Gunners star stalling on penning a new contract at the Emirates.
The Blues are looking to strengthen their side in the next transfer window with a striker top of their priorities.
ESPN claim Chelsea will look to sign Aubameyang if they cannot do deals for Lyon forward Moussa Dembele and RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner who is also wanted by Liverpool.
But Aubameyang making the switch to Stamford Bridge could be a blessing for the club and it could give Lampard some much-needed experience and power in attack.
The Chelsea boss enjoyed his glittering career playing alongside Didier Drogba for the Premier League giants and Aubameyang could be just as influential for the Blues.

Chelsea will be in the market for a striker as well as several other new additions.
The Blues are fighting Manchester United for Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho and are said to be in the market for a left-back.
Meanwhile, Arsenal hero Kevin Campbell believes the club should do swap deal with Real Madrid for Luka Jovic.
Campbell explained to AFTV host Robbie Lyle on a 24-hour NHS charity live stream: "One thing I will say about those teams, they have pieces that could entice Arsenal to do some trade.
"There could be players involved, swapping players with a little bit of money.

"Let's talk about Jovic, who isn't really getting a look in at Real Madrid. He could be a bargaining chip to try and lure Aubameyang over there.
"First and foremost Arsenal should have never let it get to this position in the first place.
"Soon as he gets to two years, the contract should have been on the table, 'Sign it sign it, if you don't in the next six months we'll look to sell you.'
"That's the way [it should be] - they came out with that statement that no player would get to one year left and now we've got not only Aubameyang but [Alexandre] Lacazette to come down to one year[next summer].
