Man Utd: Fernandes has made ‘positive start’ says coach
Manchester United may turn towards the relegation battle when it comes to bringing in players for next season. The Old Trafford hierarchy are said to be keeping tabs on Norwich duo Todd Cantwell and Max Aarons, while Declan Rice is also a player that is spoken in high regard.
According to the Daily Mail, all three players are on the club’s radar as they draw up plans for the summer.
United are keen to make much bolder movements in the market come the end of the season.
Throughout January, they operated with the belief that clubs are unlikely to sell their best players mid-season.
It’s a stance that is likely to change come the end of the campaign, particularly for the likes of Norwich and West Ham who are locked in the battle to beat the drop.

Not only that, but there is hope that by signing young players, United will be ahead of the game in years to come.
Express Sport understand that Tottenham are also interested in the Aarons and Cantwell.
The pair and team-mate Ben Godfrey are all being eyed by top six clubs as they continue to impress in East Anglia.
Speaking on talkSPORT, former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has claimed that Solskjaer cannot be trusted to spend the club’s money in the transfer market.

“Ed Woodward has come out this week and said they aren’t where they should be and that they’re going to be spending money [this summer],” Jordan said.
“But I really don’t think the manager is capable of managing whoever they put in there to get Man United back to the level they need to be.
“Would I give Solskjaer £150m or £200m to spend? No.
“I wouldn’t have given him the job in the first place – but then again I’m not in charge of Man United.
“I think it was a poor decision; I think it was an unavoidable mistake giving him the job after what he achieved in just a few games.”
