Krzysztof Piatek: Pundit on potential Premier League move
Manchester United are reportedly interested in landing AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek before the transfer deadline on Friday. However, only on a loan deal - which may count against them.
Manchester United are on the lookout for a new forward, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to land a temporary replacement for Marcus Rashford.
The Red Devils could be without Rashford for as much as three months, leaving them with just Mason Greenwood, Daniel James and Anthony Martial as senior forwards to call upon.
United had thought about landing PSG hitman Edinson Cavani but his preference is to move to Atletico Madrid instead.
And The Independent say Piatek is an option for Solskjaer as he plots a late signing before transfer deadline day.

That could count against United - particularly with other clubs interested in the Poland international.
Chelsea are sniffing about with Frank Lampard eager to provide more intense competition or Tammy Abraham.
And Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is also an admirer, having thought about signing Piatek when at United.
Meanwhile, it was claimed by The Athletic’s David Ornstein that United had reached out to Milan earlier in the month.
“Piatek is one that is worth talking about,” Ornstein said on the Ornstein and Chapman Podcast.
