Tottenham: Harry Kane injury is ‘start of the end’ says expert
Tottenham players are worried about Tanguy Ndombele's future after Jose Mourinho publicly criticised the midfielder's willingness to play. Mourinho claimed the midfielder was not injured but had deemed himself not fit enough to play against Brighton on Boxing day.
The Sun reports that although Ndombele is fit to play, the Tottenham squad are worried the club-record signing may be 'lost'.
Mourinho recently criticised Ndombele after the shock New Year's Day defeat to Southampton, claiming the midfielder was always injured.
The Portuguese manager's abrupt treatment of the Frenchman has raised eyebrows amongst the squad who are already beginning to question Mourinho's tactics.
The players are rumoured to be frustrated by Mourinho's 'lower league' style which focuses on long balls, flick-ons and throw-ins.

The general feeling is that the team is regressing after the forward-thinking and attacking approach of former boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Several leading players are also reportedly turning on Mourinho despite initially approving of his appointment.
Spurs are without a win in their last four Premier League games, a run of form which saw them drop points against relegation-threatened Norwich, Watford and Southampton.
Mourinho was frustrated by the draw at Vicarage Road last time out and claimed his side deserved more from the game.
