Arsenal: Tierney humiliates Mustafi with skills in training
Arsenal must go out and sign a top defender in the remaining days of the January transfer window, says former Gunners centre-back Martin Keown. Keown was reacting to Shkodran Mustafi’s horror mistake against Chelsea on Tuesday night. Mustafi, making just his third Premier League start of the season, attempted to pass back to his goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the first half of the match at Stamford Bridge.
However, the back pass was short and Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham stole the ball, rounded Leno and was brought down in the penalty area by David Luiz.
Luiz was sent off and Jorginho scored from the spot to make matters worse for Arsenal and Mustafi.
Mustafi has often received criticism from Arsenal supporters and Keown has described him as an “accident waiting to happen”.
The BT Sport pundit has now demanded Mikel Arteta go and out recruit a defender before the window shuts on January 31.

“David Luiz here panics, he’s not great there either, but I sympathise there with David Luiz, he’s been put in trouble by Mustafi and honestly he’s an accident waiting to happen.
“He listens far too much to the criticism that is around him.
“When you play at a high level and you talk about a game, people want to criticise you, even us.
“I think that’s definitely a red, you can’t argue with that.
