Tottenham: Inter Milan 'still debating' Eriksen transfer says expert
Inter Milan CEO Piero Ausilio has traveled to London in a bid to conclude deals with Chelsea and Tottenham for Olivier Giroud and Christian Eriksen. Antonio Conte has assigned him with the task of bolstering his squad for the second half of the campaign, as they look to trump Juventus to the Serie A title.
Just like last summer when they signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United, Inter are keen on signing players from the Premier League.
Now Ausilio is looking to wrap up both deals with Chelsea and Tottenham and there is optimism they will happen before the January 31 deadline.
According to Sky Italia, the Inter bigwig will now complete talks with the Blues for Giroud.
Personal terms between the player and club have all been agreed.

Jose Mourinho hinted that it may be the end for Eriksen at Tottenham after the clash.
The Special One has claimed the Dane can leave with his head held high.
"He played very well, very professional which is what I expect from him," Mourinho said.
“If his decision is to leave, I think he has to leave with his head up, if he gives everything which is what he tries to do for the team."
Meanwhile Giroud is expected to complete his move to Inter Milan over the weekend.

Chelsea have been holding out for an £8.5m payday from the Italian giants.
Like the Eriksen deal, Inter are refusing to get drawn into overpaying considering Giroud will be a free agent in the summer.
Competition at Milan remains fierce with Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Sanchez all in contention.
Giroud was a player that Conte signed while in charge at Stamford Bridge though in January 2018.
The Frenchman won the FA Cup under the Italian later that season.
