Gedson Fernandes says it is a ‘dream’ to play for Tottenham
Tottenham have Jorge Mendes working on a deal to bring in Porto striker Ze Luis on loan for the rest of the season, it has been claimed. Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in another striker after losing Harry Kane until April due to injury.

The clubs have reportedly shook hands on the deal, but there are further complications which will need to be ironed out before the striker moves to north London.
The Cape Verdean centre-forward does not have a Portuguese passport and would therefore have to apply for a work permit.
It’s a situation that is not deemed impossible to overcome, meaning a deal could materialise before the January 31 deadline.
Ze Luis has fired in eight goals this season for his club, who he joined last summer from Spartak Moscow.

Tottenham need to replace Kane, who they lost to a ruptured hamstring on New Year’s Day.
It initially looked like Krzysztof Piatek was their number one target in attack this month, but talks have now gone quiet.
AC Milan were looking to recoup the £34million they paid to Genoa this time last year for his services.
However Spurs were not interested in paying that much for the Polish international.

Piatek would be almost certain to be a deputy to Kane when he returns from injury at the end of the season.
Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham have also expressed an interest in the striker, but Tottenham now appear to be exploring alternative options.
Ze Luis would be the second Spurs arrival of the month, with Portuguese international Fernandes signing on the dotted on Wednesday morning.
He has moved to Hotspur Way on an 18-month loan from Benfica, with an option to buy.
